Aim For The Stars
For this game-jam, our goal was to completely disregard fancy gameplay and instead try to convey a setting as much as possible. If the player felt something during the playthrough we were happy. So instead we focused heavily on the audio-side, creating some backstory and telling the story both through flashbacks and audio-diaries. Audio was done with FMOD as middleware and enabled me to create seamless transition between the different stages of the music. This was a load of fun and got me hooked to try to do more game-related audio and programming in the future.
